Requirements:
-Experience in payroll/accounting
-Proficient with data entry
-Strong attention to detail
-Advanced PC skills, including MS Excel skills are required
-Ability to multi-task
-Willingness to learn new skills
-Must have excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
-Good mathematical skills involving the calculation of employee pay and hours due
-Strong reasoning ability
-Must be able to work with sensitive information and maintain high level of confidentiality
Duties:
-Assist the Payroll Department with data entry and payroll worksheet preparation
-Answer incoming calls
-Filing
-Process payroll data for semi-monthly payroll for approximately 1,000 employees
-Prepare miscellaneous payroll tax filings
-Prepare basic reconciliations
-Maintain and organize supplies for the department
-Perform various duties as assigned
Must have 2+ years of experience related to Payroll and 1+ years of experience related to Accounting.
Experience with ADP and an automated Timekeeping system a plus.
